聽Pelle Carlberg 或是Edson，轉眼間有十年嗎，也差不多了。聽【The Lilac time】，沒有了【in a nutshell】的爽勁與力量，反而是像封套舊相片的淡淡情懷。
現在PC的音樂，感覺像讀他定期出版的散文集，全是他的個人生活感受，有鬱鬱的，像《1983(Pelle & Sebastian)》的訴說童年往事的唏噓、《Whisper》的忽然深息、《Tired of being PC》對漸漸改變的自己的不滿。當然，仍然有充滿充默感的題材，像《Fly me to the Moon》便再現《go to hell, miss rydell》的幽默，「I’ll never fly with you Ryan」中的「Ryan」其實指Ryanair，又是最溫柔動聽的咒罵；《51,3》是在Facebook測出心靈年齡是51歲而引起的話題；《Stockholm vs Paris》是精簡地串「外國月亮特別圓」的媚外心理……
不過整張專輯最喜歡的，是串當代青年的《Because I’m worth it 》，或者人老了，總對新一代的年輕人看不過眼，是PC，也是我吧。

我是懶得去選一年幾多大的人來的，將近年尾，應是各大音樂刊物又或是bloggers選十大廿大五十大之時，一如往年，我都沒有想過去選，很多原因。不過這樣子，有些專輯確實是2008年不可錯過的好專輯我都盡量在這裡blog 一blog 它，像美國紐約based的TV On the radio 的第三張full-length album【Dear Science】。
從來聽TV On the radio 都是用不著需要去找一個音樂genre去罩著他們的，總之就是應有的創意，應有的好聽，這張【Dear Science】玩味與創意依舊，但就是不知比起以前更易上口，更easy-listening，每一首都可獨立把玩，好聽得佢哇。首首都好聽，唔知挑邊首來播，當然是買/下載大碟順序播，但點都要揀首放響呢度的話，最後揀了這首帶點神化怪氣的《Stork And Owl》。
一首《Young Folks》令Peter Bjorn And John成為這個年代難得的歐洲大熱作，亦令這隊瑞典樂團變得撚手可熱，為不同的單位作監製之位。當【Writers Block Sketches From The Block】—一張充滿著懷舊音色的美好流行專輯取得大好成績後，PBJ接下來的唱片【Seaside Rock】竟然是張主要是Instrumental的專輯。
這幾天都在不斷在聽David Byrne and Brian Eno相隔【My Life in the Bush of Ghosts】接近廿多載再次合作的【Everything That Happens Will Happen Today】一碟。Brian Eno貴為20世紀裏最重要的音樂人的座上客，年屆六十的他當然仍然能交出一張不會令人失望的專輯，由The Roxy Music到Talking Heads或是由「搖滾」的Brian Eno到「實際/環境」的Brian Eno，都不曾讓人失望過。
以前合作的一碟玩實驗，這張專輯則主調玩民謠與Gospel，首首都以人聲作主導，混雜豐富的音樂元素有時像聽David Sylvian有時似The Beach Boys，當然你都一定聽到Talking Heads的丁點味道。再細看Davyd Byrne的歌詞，原本我是打算送上【Strange Overtones】的一曲，但最後打算改送《MY BIG NURSE 》或《LIFE IS LONG》，因為David Byrne的歌詞，像前者寫混沌的現世
