其實如果一個人能夠「我喜歡我住的地方」，是種福份，至少我一直還未能很堅定地大叫「I like where I live」。來自蘇格蘭的樂團便以「I like where I live」作樂團名字，透過Slow Receiver Records送上【Coordinates EP】作免費下載。
首曲便是《Hello Glasgow》，是，Hello 蘇格蘭，Hello I like where I live。在童真可愛的插畫背後，是混合了Grandaddy、stars等樂團氣息的音樂，透一口氣的小品。
其實對於Wales 的Super Furry Animals，我是一直忠心耿耿地聆聽著的，你可以說他們沒有了初期的實驗性及鬼馬，其實一直每張專輯都是交出好戲，就連Gruff Rhys自己的solo到他的side project 也是精彩的。
作為第九張studio album，【Dark Days/Light Years】一早已被蓋上神秘面紗，整張專輯將會在3月16日現場完整演繹，而更會有即時網上播映gigcast，實在過癮。而首支單曲《Inaugural Trams》更免費送上下載，咦，電子音色加上德文vo，加上歌曲爽快小品風格，似是融合了Gruff Rhys最近的音樂體驗而來的作品，期待。

這幾天都在不斷在聽David Byrne and Brian Eno相隔【My Life in the Bush of Ghosts】接近廿多載再次合作的【Everything That Happens Will Happen Today】一碟。Brian Eno貴為20世紀裏最重要的音樂人的座上客，年屆六十的他當然仍然能交出一張不會令人失望的專輯，由The Roxy Music到Talking Heads或是由「搖滾」的Brian Eno到「實際/環境」的Brian Eno，都不曾讓人失望過。
以前合作的一碟玩實驗，這張專輯則主調玩民謠與Gospel，首首都以人聲作主導，混雜豐富的音樂元素有時像聽David Sylvian有時似The Beach Boys，當然你都一定聽到Talking Heads的丁點味道。再細看Davyd Byrne的歌詞，原本我是打算送上【Strange Overtones】的一曲，但最後打算改送《MY BIG NURSE 》或《LIFE IS LONG》，因為David Byrne的歌詞，像前者寫混沌的現世

或是後者寫生命的艱澀

The Verve 於1999年散band，在Brit-Pop歷史裏留低左【Urban Hymns】一經典大碟，一首《Bitter Sweet Symphony》亦給全球各地播到爛抄到爛接近十年，The Verve 2007年返來了。

當有人寫過Portishead【3】像Radiohead【Kid A】的偏鋒與陰沉怪氣時，Thom Yorke與Jonny Greenwood(都是Radiohead)竟然covers 【3】的《The Rip》，可惜只係粗糙咁錄音同拍，好聽到呢。呢度睇。
來自倫敦的Noah and the Whale最新單曲《5-Years Time》在ukulele 的爽快彈撥中令人恣意聆聽，又是屬於夏日的明快作品。
MV導演James Copeman將整首作品在映像中昇華，以超八拍攝的幽默玩味映像伴隨著爽朗流暢的旋律，像看著來自父母年代的手作拍攝，好玩。
